Has anyone ever used Reconstructing History patterns?
What are they printed on? Are they better or the same as Margo's Pattterns.
I am looking at these two patterns.

Well, I'm weeding out my collection. Partly because of changing interests, partly because I'd never fit in most of these, and I'd rather just get something that fits without major alteration. ;)

There may be more; I have another box to dig through yet. I'm willing to do trades or sell. I'm looking for some more serious costume patterns (interests include Edwardian bicycling costumes, Romantic and Regency era, and maaaaybe bustle) and cute toddler/little girl stuff (though I've got a pretty good sized stash of that already!). Or if you have something else not pattern related to offer, make a suggestion. :)

Truly Victorian Swap? [Oct. 17th, 2006|03:58 pm]

I have a brand new, uncut Truly Victorian 1880 Hermione Overskirt up for grabs.

The pattern number is TV326 and you can read more about it here.
All sizes are included in the pattern, which cost me $16 new.
I'm interested in trading for other Truly Victorian patterns if possible.

The patterns I'm most interested in are Tv216 the Parisian Trained Skirt, or TV410 the 1873 Polonaise, but I'm open to new TV projects.

Thanks!

Simplicity 8399 [Oct. 11th, 2006|02:57 pm]

I'm on the lookout for this particular pattern, the Simplicity 8399 Titanic-inspired dress that ran from about 1998-1999.

I previously owned this pattern until my cats tore up a huge portion of the tissue that I was unable to salvage!

I've seen this particular pattern on ebay quite often, but the asking amounts are just ridiculous.  I'm open to trading OOP patterns as well, most of my patterns are of historic dresses.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I've  been looking like mad for patterns to Scarlett's green and red velvet dressing gowns. Does anyone know where I can find them? I've checked Ebay, but maybe I'm not searching for the right thing.

Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks!

Anyone know any online patterns for those shirt dress things ?

Also for any cool aprons.

it's just quick projects so I'm not bothering to buy a pattern.

So, anywhere ?

Heya, I know this community is very quiet, but I figured I'd give it a go before putting these patterns on Ebay! I'm interested in patterns either Victorian clothing or Victorian/Edwardian underwear/corsets -- male or female. for a good pattern I'm willing to exchange the whole lot :D All these patterns have never been used or unfolded. Pictures and patterns under cut!

Friday I will throw them on Ebay if no-on is interested.

I've been searching all over the internet and I tihnk I may at last be in the right place.

We've finally got our sewing machine but my mother is refusing to let me useit to make clothes untill I have actual patterns. But i simply do not have the money to bhuy them.

So I was wondering, is there any darling who would be willing toscan and email me a few dress patterns ?

Or know anywebsites where I can get free patterns ?

Or does anyone even have simple instructions on how to make ones ?

I would really appreactiate it

Thanks in advance
